Hearty Porridge Beans
Warm up with our comforting porridge beans, a beloved Nigerian staple that's both nutritious and deeply satisfying. This creamy, flavourful dish features tender beans slow-cooked until soft and creamy, enriched with palm oil, onions, peppers, and aromatic spices, creating a thick, hearty porridge that's perfect for any time of day.
What Makes It Special
Our porridge beans is prepared the traditional Nigerian way with premium honey beans or brown beans, slow-cooked until they break down into a thick, creamy consistency. We add rich palm oil for flavor and color, fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, crayfish, and traditional seasonings. The result is a thick, savory porridge with a beautiful reddish-brown color and layers of flavor - earthy, slightly sweet from the beans, and perfectly seasoned. Often garnished with fried plantain or yam for extra texture and taste.
